you can do it with a single pure sine wave

there are alot of techniques to getting a fat bass sound. but i honestly believe the main concern is in the tuning/musical relationship in the bass/kick and rest of the track that makes it sound "big"

more about music than production process imo

i've recently switched to only using the native ableton stuff however sonnox, flux, stillwell, waves ssl, and DDMF all have low and hi pass filters built into the eq. sonnox native in particular does the most drastic sub bass removal ive ever seen (on the graph). hearing the difference is another st...

i have one piece of advice i can give that i tell all my friends which is to let the technology work for you in the music making process what i mean by that is if you are listening to tracks that have all this crazy stuff going on and you're then trying to program each little thing in your own produ...

i work for an art school in Chicago and am currently enjoying 6 weeks off for winter break :)

i'd say get a job at a college if you are qualified cause its stable and easy going most of the time. i have some friends in the corporate rut and i don't think they're very happy people
