Re: Korg ElecTribe SX (ESX-1)
I can't get my head around the rm1x to be honest. It tries to break my musical flow every chance it gets. Should not need a piece of paper to write down the locations of phrases when editing. Insane. But it's cool for playback :) I am seriously GASing for a tr-8. Looks exactly like how I like to mak...

Re: Korg ElecTribe SX (ESX-1)
Some is taste, of course. One mans crap reverb is another ones lofi wash... Regarding the velocity, the esx plays back its drum samples when you send it note on msgs, but for some reason it uses a really strange velocity curve, basically for velocity levels 0-3 it is quiet and for 4-127 it more or l...

Re: Techno arrangement tricks...
That's one way to do it. It's very common to map some buttons to mute/unmute parts. If you watch guys doing hardware based sets like with an electribe you'll see how they can squeeze several minutes of a track out of a single 4 or 8 bar pattern just by muting and unmuting parts. For instance imagine...

Re: Archipel is looking for artists
Why PM? Whatst the big secret? Surely your policy is public information and may be of interest to others. This sh!t should be standard boilerplate on any web service page. Why are you not forthcoming with it?

Re: Archipel is looking for artists
You didn't answer the question. A 10 year old label should be aware of copyright concerns, it's a complete mystery to me how you could not add this. Who owns a track submitted to this service?

Re: Archipel is looking for artists
Why is there no information on copyright and ownership of submitted works?

Re: Stability of Live
I'm still using v4. Much more stable and does the job. Later versions just added bugs and useless crud. Prior to becoming a daw, it was a pretty good live tool. Now its a jack of all trades, master of none.
