I'm surprised that Elektron never released a MIDI-only version of the machinedrum. It seems like most people get tired of the sound of it, but it's interface is bloody lovely.

you can summarize this 42min speech into three things:
make a song in 20 hours
write two pages of something every morning
write down your goals

They are horribly noisey, you can tweak a few things but in the end you just have to live with it.
