I'm not blaming Ableton, i'm blaming myself for not being able to know when a loop is ready for arrangment...(I also have to say i dont really like the "ableton sound")

No, I guess you cant control it.

Sometimes I stop working on really good stuff just because I can't hear it anymore, but on the other hand I heard alot of people saying that the really good stuff can be heard as a loop for hours...go figure ;)

was just a question :roll: just an answere. No offence :) I mean, sure, if you work on a track in 30 min sessions or something, you might need a few months, but my taste and knowledge would change so much in that time I would never finish the track or will create something totaly different out of it.

I dont know what about the others here, but how can you possibly need 2 months for one track?
I had a few tracks finished in a few hours, and they were still good and well arranged.

Well, Headphones really do make all of your FX louder and more intensiv then they really are. But before I got myself a studio, I was producing with headphones for a year (and really not loud, works fine), so know most of the time I can really start a track with headphones and finish it in the studi...
