If your just starting out i wouldn't worry to much about sending demos just yet. focus on having fun making tracks it could be years before your ready to send out a demo. that's for sure. demos: producing your own music

hello everyone. I am beginning the process of writing my own music and I'm considering submitting it to a record label some time in the future. I have a lot of question marks in my head and I reckon there's a lot of people here who have a huge knowledge of the subject. hence some asking from myself....

so because the true greats are around for some time (and learned dj'ing with vinyl), they can do whatever they want and play with cd's or laptop? that's total bullcrap imho. no no "they can do whatever they want to " means it's nice seeing them taking technology and djing one step further...

I started using Serato last year so I could play all of the good music being released only in digital format.
