Another thing that might be helpfull is to do each of your drumtracks as a separtate midi channel if you don't already. One midi track for kick one for hi hat 1 one for hi hat 2 ect ect. That way its a very quick process to extend into a full song. Never thought of that.I'm having the same problems...
